Price a hotel influencer collaboration from both sides
A room can be expensive to sell and inexpensive to service. A hosted stay can feel valuable to a creator and still leave production work unpaid. This calculator keeps those statements separate.
Plan the campaign before pricing it
This ledger is for a hotel and creator who are moving from an idea to a written brief. Use the campaign questions below before entering money. They keep audience fit, content, attribution and rights from disappearing inside one headline fee.
Choose for fit
Compare the creator's audience location, usual format, destination experience and recent work with the guests and stay the property wants to reach. Ask for the underlying account evidence the creator can actually provide.
Name one primary outcome
Decide whether the main job is a reusable content asset, qualified reach, direct bookings or a combination. Record secondary outcomes separately so one result does not quietly stand in for all of them.
Write the production brief
List deliverables, formats, shot needs, review rounds, posting dates, on-property access, weather alternatives and reporting. Vivian's own Partnership Conditions show how she separates these terms.
Define rights before filming
State the channels, usage period, paid-media permission, territory and exclusivity category. Enter the negotiated fees and periods as separate lines in the calculator.
Set attribution before launch
Choose the link, code, landing page or booking question the hotel will count. Save the rule with the campaign and use the same rule for every scenario.
Evaluate contribution, not revenue alone
Bring the property's own booking value and contribution margin. The tool compares booking contribution with campaign cost and does not treat attributed revenue as profit.
Collect these inputs
- Revenue or finance supplies public rack value, marginal occupied-room cost, average booking value and contribution margin.
- Marketing supplies staff or agency time, the attribution rule and conservative, base and upside booking counts.
- The creator supplies production hours, target labour value, personal stay and extras value, deliverable count, usage fee and exclusivity fee.
- The written brief supplies stay length, hosted meals and activities, transport, usage period and exclusivity period.
Build the deal
Enter the terms you are actually discussing. Public rack value is shown for context, but the hotel-cost formula uses marginal room cost. Rights and exclusivity stay visible as their own fees.
Stay and hosted extras
What the hotel gives up and what the creator personally values are different inputs.
Work, cash and rights
Price labour, usage and exclusivity independently so one line cannot silently subsidise another.
Booking scenarios
These are editable scenarios, not forecasts. Use the same booking economics across all three.
Complete every field to build the ledger. Enter zero only when a line genuinely does not apply.
Read the result without mixing the ledgers
Hotel-side campaign cost
Marginal room cost plus hosted meals and activities, transport, creator cash, rights, exclusivity, and internal staff or agency cost. Rack value is excluded.
Creator-side consideration value
Cash, rights and exclusivity fees plus only the stay and extras value the creator personally assigns. It is not derived from hotel cost.
Creator production value
Target hourly value multiplied by production hours, with rights and exclusivity added separately. Uncompensated creator labour means the entered consideration does not cover that entered production value.
Break-even bookings
Hotel campaign cost divided by contribution per booking. The tool holds this result when booking value or contribution margin is missing or non-positive.
A hosted stay covers the cost of the experience. It does not pay for the content, according to Vivian's published Partnership Conditions. Her current Hosted Stay package provides first-party offer context, not a market benchmark.
Methodology
Vivian publishes the stay length, deliverables, usage window, reporting schedule and cash component of her own Hosted Stay offer. She also publishes the conditions she uses for briefs, payment, licensing, exclusivity, travel costs, hosted collaborations and reporting.
Results use only the reader's inputs and deterministic formulas. The calculator does not infer a room rate, hotel margin, booking value, creator fee or campaign outcome. Every result prints its formula and echoes the values used.
Hotel marginal cost, public rack value and creator-side consideration answer different questions. Public price is not silently treated as hotel cash cost, and hotel cost is not silently treated as creator compensation.
Limits
- A hosted stay is an in-kind cost or benefit, not cash income, and rack rate is not necessarily the hotel's marginal cost
- ROI and break-even outputs are scenarios from user inputs, not guaranteed bookings, revenue, reach, or profit
- Taxes, contract enforceability, disclosure duties, and accounting treatment depend on jurisdiction and require qualified advice
- Attribution quality is not scored. Include a booking only when the hotel can defend the attribution rule.
- Currency conversion is not performed. Use one currency for every money field.
Site-wide creator data and pricing disclosures
This calculator does not use performance metrics or benchmark-derived prices. The following disclosures remain attached because they apply across Vivian's research pages.
- All TikTok metrics are from a single 746-follower account and do not represent an industry sample
- Views, reach, and engagement are platform-controlled; no outcome is guaranteed
- Prices are a commercial decision and are not derived from benchmark data
- Engagement-rate comparisons depend on the denominator used; this site uses likes divided by views
- Rates are first-partner launch pricing valid through December 2026
Sources
Vivian Dolor's published offer is the first-party source for her Hosted Stay package. Partnership Conditions is the first-party source for her hosted-collaboration, licensing, exclusivity, disclosure, payment and reporting terms. Neither page is independent market evidence.
HSMAI Academy's rack-rate definition supports the public-price label. AccountingTools' contribution-margin definition supports the contribution label. These sources define terms only. They do not supply any value entered into the calculator.
